The packaging or vehicle is, no doubt, as important as the content. But what’s the point of telling the story if no one is listening? At Accent Communications, we make the way you communicate, and with who, a strategic process. We create a cohesive plan inclusive of all your content, be it website or blog, social media platforms and messaging, presentations and other printed materials. We make it all tie together and make sense to your users and customers.
We work with an experienced team of professionals, as well as a carefully selected network of agencies, each with area of expertise, to provide our clients with a wide array of services and broader reach.
With more than our half of our staff being bi-lingual, we know that stories today must be told in more than one language. Thus, we can assist you with Spanish-language campaigns, with a reach within the U.S., to Puerto Rico and throughout Latin America. This includes bi-lingual media relations, creation of collateral materials and annual reports.
Jeannette Rivera-Lyles
Executive Director
Content Editor and Writer
Jeannette is a born storyteller. In fact, she knew that she wanted to write professionally as early as the first grade. And she followed her dream. She became a journalist, working in radio, television and print, always looking for unique angles from which to tell a story. Jeannette develops written and visual content for our clients, including website content, blog posts, annual reports and RFPs.
Jeannette was a reporter at El Nuevo Herald and The Miami Herald for nine years, and at the Orlando Sentinel for seven years. She has freelanced for BBC Mundo, Florida Politics.com, AhoraMismo.com, and MSN Latino, where she maintained a blog for three years and edited an online magazine.
Before founding Accent Communications, she was a senior account executive with Wragg and Casas Public Relations in Orlando. In this role, she supported a variety of local and national businesses in message development, reputation management and media relations.
When not working, Jeannette strives to spend quality time with her family and friends, her guitar, or watch a foreign film with a good glass of wine. She’s an avid reader whose dream is to someday finish all the books that currently sit on her night table (25 at last count). This may be a mission impossible because somehow the stack keeps on getting bigger (ok, she keeps on buying more).

Jordan Hensley is our social media maven, with more than eight years of experience managing multiple social media platforms.
Social media mavins do more than just schedule posts, they figure out unique ways to present ideas and content to a client’s audience while strengthening a client’s brand. Jordan understands that each client has unique social media needs and requires a specialized plan for each platform. She takes pride in forming cohesive and diverse social media plans to best meet a client’s needs.
Twitter is Jordan’s favorite platform, but she is a frequent user of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
